OUR STORY

Mussel Memory (MuMe) is an art print brand based in Amsterdam, founded in March 2025. The idea for this small business came from one of our favorite pastimes: writing postcards to family and friends.

 

We wanted to create something that felt both meaningful and fun, a little spark of joy you can hold in your hands. With playful punchlines and thoughtful designs, our goal is to bring laughter, love, and lightness to everyone who receives our products.

 

We began with a few postcards and a head full of puns, testing ideas at local markets and seeing which ones resonated. The response was overwhelming in the best way. People didn’t just buy our cards; they laughed, shared stories, and connected with us and each other. That’s when we knew we were onto something special.

 

Since then, we’ve expanded our collection to include A4 travel-themed posters, A6 sticker sheets, and more. Every product we create is infused with the same spirit of lightheartedness and creativity that started it all. And we’re just getting started! As Mussel Memory grows, we’re dreaming up new ideas - keychains, bookmarks, tote bags, and other character-driven items that carry our quirky, joyful personality into everyday life.

 

At its core, Mussel Memory is about celebrating the small things, sharing moments of connection, and adding a touch of humor and love to the world, one design at a time.
